Wait until Dark is a series of colorful staged images captured from unusual perspectives, exploring women’s roles, vulnerability, and identity. The images are charged with an ambiguous narrative yet, provide key elements regarding who these women are. Each photograph leaves ample room for the viewer to let their imagination fill the gaps and determine what fate awaits these imagined characters. Despite the palpable lightheartedness, the work expresses a quiet melancholy and probes tensions between invisible challenges, gender identity, and life.
